My friend (the brilliant computer engineering college student)is working on a game design project with several older students for no credit (because he's just doing it for the knowledge/experience).

Any way, he & his group are computer engineers not artists, so... He said, and I quote, if it were left to them, the game would end up being "BLOCK MAN IN TRIANGLE WORLD" or something like that. They did not want that so my friend asked me to be the artist on their team... Me, an artist for a video game! I'm so excited!

Any way, I've been working on the concept art for the characters. Most of the focus is on the facial expressions because the engineering team is working out the dialogue system for the game. Once they have that done, the animation system will be worked on. For that I will need to learn how to put together sprite art.

It's going to be a lot of work, but I'm definitely going to be having fun with this!
